Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. She also serves as the head of the Center for Public Policy Research. Her name has been recognized as a pioneer in the field of witness testimony by children and the eyewitness memory within legal contexts. Professor Goodman is the author of numerous publications and many awards to her credit she is also the winner of numerous national and global distinctions. She has provided consulting on research and policy to many agencies and departments from all over the world. She is a consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center which was previously known as the Multidisciplinary Interview Center - of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She has memberships with numerous professional groups, such as the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Professor Goodman is a member of the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children (Founding member) International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect as well as the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was president of The American Psychological Association's Developmental Division and Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Society for Child and Family Policies and Practice.
